Sugar Content of (Extra) Light , Medium and Heavy Syrup

kaong irok syrup

I researched the sugar content of syrups. We may assume that 14° Brix is 14 grams sugar per 100 ml.  Data may not be conclusive.

There are three grades of syrup:

a light syrup contains 200g sugar per litre,
a medium syrup 400-600 g/l and
a heavy syrup 800g/l.
