  2. Tawa tawa is not just good for human dengue but for dogs as well.. Years ago my 3 month old dog got dengue and from the normal 150 platelet, he’s down to 50. He is super weak, cannot eat. He is the favorite of my dad so i looked online and searched for some herbs or anything that could help my dog. I found tawa tawa and i immediately asked my mom to find tawa tawa. We found one and boiled it. We used it as a replacement for water (take note my dog refuse to drink water too), so i forced him to drink it ,i used the syringe (without the needle). Voila! After 3 days of drinking it my dog became healthy and he is back to normal(makulit and matakaw) i continued it for more days and i still follow the meds given by the vet until the 21st. Ut that day, i kow he is healthy again! My dog, Choco is now 3 years old 🙂
After that whenever my dogs got sick i let them drink tawa tawa because i know that it has different uses as well. Thank you God for the gift of healing and for the miracle plant you created. 🙂

    1. Thanks for sharing your experience. God created everything for our cure. It is available to every human near their backyard. We went to the modern way of quick fix problems. It doesn’t work sometimes, got dangerous side effects and expensive after all.
      Back to nature for cure!

  4. I know first hand that this miracle herb called ‘tawa-tawa’ has cured our nephew, Jordan from Dengue. He recovered from Dengue Fever last middle of July, 2012. His platelets went down to 9 from 400. By the time they got him to the hospital, his blood platelets went down to 9! A dear friend told her to pull some ‘tawa-tawa’ plants before going to the hospital in Tuguegarao. My sister simmered (not boiled–she cooked it on low flame) the fresh herbs in Tuguegarao where they are staying and Jordan drank 1 quart the first hour. My sister continued to give him ‘tawa-tawa’ tea until his Dengue symptoms disappeared. I praise the Lord for this miracle herb that He made for it saved our nephew’s life!

  5. nice read. but it would have been great if the author had included his source of the significant studies conducted (if there were) to validate the medicinal values/claims of the plant.

if there is, indeed, truth to the above-mentioned benefits/capabilities, then tawa-tawa is nothing short of a miracle plant. but how come it’s not that popular? i’m quite skeptical.

    1. The use of herbal has been known in this country ever since but somehow less promoted in the urban community. It is really up to you if you believe in this type of medicament. No matter how skeptical you are it really doesn’t matter to the people who used and experienced relief from suffering/ illness after using this herbal treatment not to mention the observers.
I’m from Cebu and have known how the less privileged were satisfied with this kind medicine.

  6. in our research, we must prove that tawa tawa will help to increase blood platelets. that was the hyphotosys of our team and the statement of our problem is in terms of testing of that proposal , the proper ways and the equation needed in that particular test.
