Aside from killing cancer cells and slowing tumor growth, it lowers heart rate, reduces blood pressure, and dilates blood vessels; also sedates, and relieves depression among many other things. So, not bad for the heart, really, unless you have low-blood pressure and are taking maintenance medicine for the heart. If this is so, check with your doctor first to see if the guyabano tea won’t interact with the meds.
Just don’t overdo taking the guyabano tea. 3 glasses a day only, for 30 days if you are treating an illness like cancer; one glass a day for 5 days during the week for body tune-up;
then abstain for 2 days to rest the kidneys. Example, drink a glass of guyabano tea from Monday to Friday, abstain on a Saturday and Sunday, then back to the guyabano tea on Monday, and so on.
What it is not good for (contraindications):
1. Do not use with CoQ10.
2. Not to be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
3. Guyabano or graviola has demonstrated hypotensive,
vasodilator and cardiodepressant activities in animal
studies. People with low blood pressure should
monitor their blood pressure accordingly.

Hope this helps. God bless!

hello po pls help us po may cancer po ang father q stage 4 n po.i’ve heard po n guyabano can cure cancer pls.help us po pano namin gamitin were hoping and praying p rin po n malagpasan po nya.
answer from Ms…
You can prepare guyabano tea with either fresh or dried leaves. Personally, I use air dried or shadow dried leaves. Whichever you choose to use, fresh or dried, they’re both effective. I use the air dried ones. Prepare tea good for the day only since the effectivity of the tea is good for 7 to 8 hours only. Throw away leftover tea and prepare a new batch everyday.
Shred the leaves, and measure one 8 oz. cup of the leaves to a liter of water in a saucepan or pot. Bring the water to a boil. As soon as the water boils, bring down the heat to low and simmer the leaves for 20 minutes. Then turn off the stove and allow the tea to cool off.
Now, let your father drink one glass of the tea 30 minutes before meals, 3 times a day. Do this for 30 days only because longer than this, the guyabano tea will kill the good bacteria in your stomach. However, your father may need to take the tea for a longer period. So, after the 30 days, let your father’s body rest by abstaining from drinking the tea for at least 7 to 10 days, then resume with the tea treatment for another 30 days.
When your Father’s good health is restored, use one glass of the tea per day for maintenance. Let your father drink one glass of tea 5 days a week, resting for 2 days. Example, let him drink one glass of guyabano tea everyday from Monday to Friday, abstain on Saturday and Sunday, then back to drinking the tea the following Monday until Friday, and so on.
HOpe this helps. God bless!
