It is the LAMPCO Coco Sugar. Where did I get it? I got it from our home shelf. My big mama bought it straight from IFEX(International Food Exhibition) held at SMX Convention Center (beside Mall of Asia) last week.
The pack, based on its appearance, looked like one kilogram. It only weighs 500 grams however. It seems coconut sugar is half less dense than regular refined cane sugar.
Brace yourself before I tell the price. It cost 200 pesos, enough to buy a five kilo counterpart.
It is a healthy sweetener, has low glycemic index, natural sweetener and organic certified. I guess it is not as expensive as I thought. The health benefits it offers are more than enough to cover the cost. The product has three certification seals. The USDA Organic, Eco Cert, and Certified Carbon Neutral. It is an FDA registered product.

P.S. Sugar is a sweetener and a preservative. It can preserve itself provided with good packaging and favorable condition. The expiration date may not apply.
