Adobong Squid with Tomato Sauce

A modification of ordinary adobong pusit recipe.


1/2 kilo squid medium size
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 bulb white onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 chili green, cut
1 thumb finger ginger. slices
ground pepper
soy sauce to taste
cooking oil

Cooking Instructions:

Clean squid and cut into three slices. In a pan, heat cooking oil. Saute garlic, onion and ginger. Add squid and stir. Note: Don’t be bother about the black color. It is a natural juice from the squid. Season with ground pepper and soy sauce to taste. Add tomato sauce and green chili. Mix thoroughly. Boil for five minutes. Serve hot.
