I prepared a soup this evening, and I felt like sipping it while hot. It is nice having it to repel coldness of night. I fused it with healthy veggie. It is what they called miracle vegetable, the malungay.
Here is my recipe! The Clam Soup.
1/2 kilo clams
2 cups malunggay leaves
1 onion head, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
fish sauce to taste
1 1/2 cup water
Saute garlic and onion until golden brown. Add clams and stir. Add water. Cover the pan and let it boil until the clams open. Pour seasoning with ground pepper and salt to taste. Add now the malunggay leaves. Cook for three minutes. Serve hot.
These clams flavored with malunggay has a nice taste. Dirty white in color with gray maps. I think it is called Halaan. Other shells of different colors and sizes is making me confuse as to what it really is.
