I am very sorry! I did not follow the pancit habhab tradition. I placed it on plate with spoon and fork rather than placing it on banana leaves. I ate it using spoon and fork rather than eating it directly by mouth.
Maybe the term pancit habhab for this recipe is wrong. My better half followed the same recipe however.
1/2 kilo Special Dried Miki Lucban
1/2 kilo carrots
1/2 kilo cabbage
1/4 kilo baguio beans
1/4 kilo pork liempo
1 pc. onion (big)
4 pcs. garlic
soy sauce and patis
1. Chop pork liempo. Fry to make it crispy.
2. Then, remove crispy pork liempo and saute’ garlic, onion,
carrots, cabbage and baguio beans.
3. Boil water for 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, pepper and patis to taste. Put Special Dried Miki Lucban and cook until tender.
4. Mix cooked vegetables and crispy pork liempo. Pancit habhab is now ready to serve…
