How to Make Crispy Fish Fillet


1/4 kilo fish, cut into slices
1 cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 kilo calamansi
ground pepper
1/2 tbsp salt
cooking oil

Cooking Procedure

Slice off top portion of calamansi taking care not to cut any seeds. Else, it will contribute undesirable astringent flavor to recipe. Squeeze out the juice in a glass and filter out the seeds.

In a bowl, mix calamansi juice, salt and pepper and stir well. Soak fish in marinade for fifteen to twenty five minutes.

In a separate platter, pour flour and bread crumbs. Roll the marinated fish on it. Repeat for the rest of marinated fish.

In a pan, heat cooking oil. Add fillets then fry til golden brown. Serve hot to retain the crispiness. Serve with catsup sauce. Enjoy eating!
