Dulong Malunggay Leaves Patties

My kids never like eating vegetables. Everyday seems like a never ending battle. As a remedy, I tried mixing malunggay in this menu and they love it surprisingly. Making not so tasty veggies part of more delectable dishes is really a nice idea. Here is my short and simple recipe.

Ingredients:

1/4 kilo dulong (silver fish)
1/2 cup malunggay leaves
1 bulb onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup flour
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp ground pepper
salt to taste
cooking oil

Cooking Instructions:

1) Wash dulong fish. Remove malunggay leaves from the petioles. In a mixing bowl, add dulong fish, malunggay leaves. Then mix. Add onion, flour and egg. Season with pepper and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly until thick.

2) In a pan, heat cooking oil. Measure one spoon of ingredient mixture. Form into patties. Fry. Repeat until the last mix. Serve.
