Molo or siomai wrapper
1/4 ground pork meat
1 whole carrot, medium, chopped to small pieces
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
5 table spoon flour
1 large egg, beaten
small pack of sotanghon
1 cup shredded chicken meat
1) The molo. Mix ground pork, chopped carrots, onion, garlic, flour, pepper, beaten egg, oyster sauce and sesame oil. Then wrap in molo wrapper. The alternative procedure of making Banana Heart Pork Siomai and Fish Siomai can be followed as an alternative.
2) The soup. Saute onion, garlic and chicken shreds. Add water and let boil for three minutes. Drop siomai carefully and continue boiling for 15 minutes. Add sotanghon. Add salt to taste. Molo will be cooked directly by boiling water. Or steam it before adding to soup.
I think steaming the molo before adding to soup is better!
