4 large potatoes
1/4 kilo ground meat
1/2 cup flour
1 beaten egg
1 cup bread crumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
salt to taste
1) Wash potatoes thoroughly. Boil them with skin. Why do we need to boil with skin? Boil potatoes with skin to conserve their nutrients. Then, remove skin and mash. Set aside.
2) Saute’ garlic and onion. Add ground pork and continue stirring until golden brown. Season with ground pepper and salt to taste.
3) Scoop about two spoons mashed potatoes and flatten it. Use plastic or aluminum foil for rolling. Pour one spoon sauteed pork on center and form into logs. Roll on flour. Dip in beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs. Continue till the rest of ingredients.
4) In a pan, heat cooking oil. Then deep fry until golden brown. Serve with catsup or mayonnaise for dressing. Enjoy eating!
