Alamang or balaksila are the common Terms for minute shrimps. Last Saturday, my wife bought some to cook tortang basaksila. The outcome looks very similar to mushroom burger patties.
2 pieces eggs
1/4 kilogram alamang (balaksila, minute shrimp)
1 teaspoon salt
2 pieces medium sized onion, chopped finely
3 teaspoon corn starch
1 tablespoons black pepper, ground
1. Beat all the ingredients with two pieces eggs.
2. In a non-stick pan, heat small amount of oil and fry two tablespoon of mixture. Cook both side.
3. Do the same for the rest of mixture.
Because the outcome is very similar burger patties. You can serve it in middle of burger buns during snack hours. Enjoy!
